How does Prime Athleticus structure our programmes?The training mainly focuses on muscle and strength development. Our coaches uses a Daily Undulating Periodisation (DUP) strategy with the components of linear periodization and autoregulation in our game plan. This is designed to each athlete and takes into consideration areas such as training minimum effective dose, lifestyle, current/past injury histories and nutrition plan. The Squat, Bench and Deadlift are mainly performed within a training session as it is sports-specific. It is then followed by secondary exercises with an emphasis on muscle development and injury prevention.

Who are eligible in getting coaching?We are open to any athlete, ranging from different levels of progression and age. We have coached clients focused on general fitness to athletes who are competitive

How long does one typically work with a coach for?The length of a period of coaching varies, depending on the individual's needs and preferences. Here at Prime Athleticus, we try to prepare our clients to learn and progress as much as possible. Some clients feel ready to set off on their own after a few training cycles, while others may feel it is beneficial to work with our coaches for a longer period. Some factors impacting the length of time may include: Types of goals, competitions, the way an individual would like to work, adherence to the protocols and financial resources in supporting coaching.

Is there a minimum period of coaching to commit to?Currently, we offer our coaching services on a monthly basis (4 weeks), please refer to the Coaching Services page for the detailed tier list. That being said, a coach-athlete relationship is usually built upon months of interaction. The results and adaptation may not be able to be seen in just a 4 week training cycle.

How do these coaching sessions work?In all our coaching services, we offer email correspondence in which you can ask us anything with regards to training, nutrition, technique, psychological, rehab topics. Depending on your coaching tier, we offer performance analysis on a regular basis. This is an advantage over other online coaching services as it is an indepth and structured We offer an additional advantage over other online coaching services in that we provide face-to-face contact time with our athletes, once or twice weekly. This enables our coaches to quickly rectify any technique problems, and helps our athletes gain confidence to lift heavier weights and achieve good results on the competition platform.
